Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has decided to conduct the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021, to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any secondary school in Odisha, one must pass the Teacher Eligibility Test. Will be ( T E T ). The application process for OSSTET 2021 will be online only. How to Apply for OSSTET Exam 2021?

OSSET Exam 2021, steps to fill online application form are given below.

Phase 1: Apply for OSSTET 2021 visit the website @ bseodisha.ac.in or click on the direct link provided above.

step 2: To register for the first time, click on New Registration.

step 3: Enter all the required details in the registration form and click on submit to generate the registration number and password.

step 4: Login to the website using the registered email and password. Once successfully logged in, fill in your details

Step 5: Next step is to pay the application fee as per your category

Step 6: Click on Final Submission to submit OSSTET Application Form 2021.

Step 7: Take more than one printout of the application form for future reference.

OSSTET Exam 2021 -Eligibility Criteria:

A. General Eligibility: He should be a citizen of India.
B. Odia Read and Write Ability: Candidate should be able to read and write in Odia. Any one of the following qualifications will be taken into account to ascertain this potential of the candidate:

Class educational qualification
TGT (Science – PCM/CBZ)

Bachelor’s degree in Science with any two subjects (PCM) OR (CBZ) with Honors / Elective / Elective / Pass from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from an institution recognized by . NCTE.

or,

Four Years Integrated Degree in B.Sc.B.Ed from a Recognized Institute in PCM in CBZ with Minimum 50% Marks as Honors / Elective / Elective / Pass

TGT Arts Four years Integrated B.B.Ed in any two (English, Odia, Hindi and Sanskrit and History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Milestones in Indian History, Indian Geography and Indian Polity) from an institute recognized by NCTE. as Honours / Elective / Passed with minimum 50% marks.

or,

Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Commerce in any two subjects (English, Oriya, Hindi and Sanskrit and History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Milestones in Indian History, Indian Geography and Indian Polity).

Hindi teacher Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate in any one of the following subjects: a) Rashtrabhasha Ratna from Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Wardha

b) Shastri Hindi, Odisha Rashtrabhasha Parishad, Puri

c) Graduate from Hindi Shiksha Samiti, Odisha, Cuttack

Classical Teacher – Urdu BA with 50% marks in Persian language and B.Ed from a recognized Institute/University

OR, Alim with 50% marks

Classical Teacher – Telugu Bachelor’s degree in Arts with Telugu with 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed.
Classical Teacher – Sanskrit Bachelor’s Degree in Sanskrit as Elective / Honours / Elective / Passed Subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate with Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree from a recognized Institution.
physical education Candidates must have passed class 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% marks from a recognized institute and B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed/ C.P.Ed from a recognized Board or University.

OSSTET Exam 2021: Exam Pattern

I. OSSTET will have two papers namely Paper-I and Paper-II.
a) Persons possessing the requisite educational and training qualifications as per Category-I will have to appear in Paper-I of the examination
b) Persons possessing the requisite educational and training qualifications as per Category-II have to appear in Paper-II of the examination.
Second. The duration of the test in each paper will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
III. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each with four options out of which one is correct.
Fourth. There will be no negative marking.

OSSTET Exam Cut Off Marks

Minimum passing marks in each paper is 60%. A person securing 60% or more marks in each paper will be considered as qualified OSSTET. In the case of The minimum passing marks for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates will be 50%.

Validity of OSSTET Certificate

OSSTET pass certificate will be valid till the candidate reaches the upper age limit prescribed for the recruitment of teachers as per the rules or executive instructions laid down by the government. From time to time
