Kai Lukas Havertz (German pronunciation born on June 11, 1999) is a German professional footballer who is an attacking midfielder at Premier League club Chelsea and the German national team.

After graduating from the Bayer Leverkusen’s youth academy the year 2016, Havertz made his debut for the senior team at the same time. Childhood and early life

Havertz was born in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia. He was raised in Mariadorf, a district within Alsdorf. The family later relocated to Aachen.
