Before the casinos reopened on June 4 in Nevada, 111 Las Vegas Corona Virus violations of the emergency declaration were announced. The regulatory authorities did not specify where the violations occurred, citing confidentiality rules.
The Enforcement Division of the Nevada Gaming Control Board performed 1,453 inspections and observations from unrestricted licensees and 6,008 in smaller game operations under restricted licenses. Violations covered by the emergency statement include facial covering for employees that were expanded for broader use on June 24, and various rules that apply to hygiene practices and social distance.
These revelations come in the face of a new Covid-19 explosion in Sin City. Nevada now has a mandatory face mask rule, and there is concern that another casino deal might come.
