Private engineering courses can be done at UG, PG, Diploma and PhD levels. The eligibility criteria are different as per the course and branch opted by the candidate. However, there is a broad eligibility criteria for UG, PG, Diploma and PhD Engineering courses for the reference of the candidates mentioned below:

  • BE/BTech: Candidates must have passed 12th class from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects. They must also have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate score
  • B.Tech Lateral Entry: Candidates must have passed three year Diploma awarded by State Government Board of Technical Examination with minimum 45% aggregate or equivalent
  • ME/MTech: Candidates who have completed their BE/BTech degree with valid score in GATE are eligible for ME/MTech degree course.
  • Diploma: Candidates must have passed class 10 / equivalent examination with at least 35 percentile in Science and Mathematics subjects
  • PHD: Candidates must have secured minimum 55% aggregate or 5.5 CPI in B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree in relevant streams.
