Tropicana Las Vegas Reopen Delay • This Week in Gambling

Although things are technically still on schedule for the Tropicana Las Vegas reopening on September 1, 2020, the parent company’s CEO isn’t so sure. Last week he alluded to the fact that the resort may not open on schedule.

Penn National Gaming has now stated that there is a possibility that the opening date may be delayed due to market conditions. Like other casino properties in Nevada, Tropicana closed pro-state operations in mid-March over concerns about the spread of the coronavirus.
